Muhammad Hassan Kamshad called our office to see if we could book him an appointment for a same day consultation. He urgently needed assistance with his immigration matter. We were able to schedule him in for the same day consultation. He proceeded with telling the immigration representative that he received a procedural fairness letter after applying for express entry stage 1 and receiving an invitation to apply. He accepted the invitation submitted the second stage application for express entry. A few months later he received a procedural fairness letter. The client admitted that he made a genuine error and did not want to lose his permanent residency because of an honest mistake.

The immigration officer indicated in the letter that he was not satisfied that the applicant had three or more years of employment he declared as his foreign work experience. He did not believe that was important to submit any supporting documentation attesting to this declaration. The immigration officer gave him fifteen days to address the concerns on this letter. If the applicant chose not to address the concern on the letter than the application could result in a refusal, plus get charged with misrepresentation.

The representative suggested addressing the procedural fairness letter so that he does not lose the opportunity of getting his permanent residency in Canada. He immediately proceeded with hiring the firm and the representative began working on his file. Two days after hiring the firm we had a submission letter ready for the client approval. The representative working on his file, spoke with the client to go over what was being addressed on the letter. We submitted the required documentation for the procedural fairness letter before the deadline.

Within three months Muhammad got his confirmation of permanent residency and thanked us for acting quickly and professionally.
